Responsibilities:
- A real estate asset manager is searching for a Senior Accountant to maintain and manage accurate financials for a portfolio of their industrial properties.
- Reporting to the Head of Property Accounting, you’ll support property and asset managers in reviewing and preparing monthly variance reports, and Tenant Billing reports.
- You will also monitor the AR & AP process and provide support for upcoming accounting projects.
- Preparing financial reports.
- Maintaining records of company assets.
- Preparing and ensuring the accuracy of all ledgers, accounts, portfolios and balance sheets.
Requirements:
- Bachelors degree in accounting
- Minimum of 3+ years of property accounting - open to asset class.
- High preference to candidates with steady work history.
- Upbeat and positive attitude; willingness to learn and collaborate.
- Strong use of Yardi, as well as Excel (i.e. V-lookups, Pivot tables, sum-ifs)
