Are you passionate about streamlining procurement processes, driving operational excellence, and delivering real value through efficiency and automation? Our client is looking for an experienced Procurement Process Improvement - Senior Associate to help shape and optimize their Procure-to-Pay (P2P) operations and broader sourcing strategies.
In this role, you’ll combine deep procurement process knowledge with a continuous improvement mindset to lead transformative initiatives. You’ll be instrumental in improving performance, reducing costs, and driving sustainable, tech-enabled procurement practices.
What You’ll Do:
- Analyze procurement and sourcing processes—including P2P, vendor onboarding, contracting, and contract lifecycle management—to identify areas for improvement.
- Apply methodologies such as Lean or Six Sigma to design and implement optimized workflows.
- Lead cross-functional process improvement initiatives alongside teams from Procurement, Legal, Tax, Accounts Payable, and more.
- Develop and maintain process maps, value stream maps, and other visual tools to communicate current and future state workflows.
- Partner with stakeholders to align process enhancements with broader business goals.
- Contribute to system implementations and upgrades—gathering requirements, supporting testing, and optimizing the user experience.
- Identify and manage risks related to compliance, suppliers, and contracts.
- Stay on top of industry trends and emerging tech in procurement and automation.
What We’re Looking For:
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business Administration, or a related field (Master’s or relevant certifications are a plus).
- 5+ years of experience in operations consulting, procurement, or supply chain process development.
- Expertise in Source-to-Pay platforms (e.g., Coupa preferred, Jaggaer, GEP, Ariba).
- Proven track record in procurement process design and optimization (especially P2P and sourcing).
- Experience leading or supporting enterprise software implementation/enhancement projects.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Visio, Word, PowerPoint).
- Bonus points for experience with automation and data tools like Alteryx and Tableau.
- Strong communication and facilitation skills with a collaborative, cross-functional approach.
