Hoxton Circle's Holiday Community Outreach

On a cold, snowy Thursday morning in Washington Heights, NYC, the Hoxton Circle team worked with the City Harvest Mobile market to sort, bag and distribute fresh produce to over 250 families in need. City Harvest is New York City’s largest food rescue organization, and annually rescue 61 million pounds of food to deliver it, free of charge, to hundreds of food pantries, soup kitchens and other community partners across the City.

It was an extremely rewarding time for the whole team, being able to help out and assist such a great cause, and especially seeing people having to stand in line, in the bitter elements, made it all the more fulfilling that we were able to help out in any way that we could. We met some really great people and are thankful that we could join the City Harvest Mobile Market workers and other volunteers to help the hundreds of families on that day. Putting people first is of huge importance to Hoxton Circle and we are delighted that we were able to do just that and help out with a really great cause and charity.
