Our client, a consumer products company focused on developing and distributing premium wellness and lifestyle products is looking for a Temp Senior Accountant who will prepare and maintain financial records to track the organization’s Balance sheet, Income Statement, tax liabilities, costing analysis, Intercompany reconciliation and other related financial activities.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
• Performs general and cost accounting, ensuring accuracy of financial records and reports.
• Prepares monthly financial statements and maintains the general ledger.
• Manages account reconciliations, month-end close, and bank verifications.
• Supports accounts payable, receivable, and collections processes.
• Assists with audits and tax filings for federal, state, and local agencies.
• Oversees and enhances accounting and ERP systems.
• Provides financial analysis and budgeting support to leadership.
• Analyzes operational costs, develops standard costing, and performs cost-volume-profit and other cost analyses.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 3–5 years of relevant accounting or finance experience.
• Strong analytical, mathematical, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and accounting/ERP systems
• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
• Ability to interpret financial data, reports, and operational procedures.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational and documentation skills.
• Able to work independently and collaboratively to meet deadlines.
