Location: Greater Austin, TX (Hybrid)
Salary: $125,000+ annually

A growing professional services firm is seeking a Tax Manager to join its private client team. This position is ideal for an experienced tax professional who thrives in a collaborative environment and has a strong background serving high-net-worth individuals, families, and complex entities. The role includes leading client engagements, managing compliance and consulting projects, and working across disciplines such as estate planning, philanthropy, and financial advisory.

• Lead and manage client tax engagements, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.

• Supervise and mentor staff, promoting technical excellence and growth.

• Provide strategic tax planning, entity structuring, and consulting solutions.

• Manage audits and communications with tax authorities.

• Oversee budgets, billing, and retainers to ensure client satisfaction and profitability.

• Partner with leadership to enhance best practices and operational processes.

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting; Master’s in Taxation preferred.

• 7+ years of tax compliance experience with high-net-worth clients, partnerships, and trusts.

• Active CPA or EA license required.

• Strong proficiency in tax software (CCH Axcess, Checkpoint, BNA Planner) and advanced Excel.

• Proven leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.

• Experience with multi-state, foreign income, and gift/estate tax preferred.
