We are partnered with a well-established Commercial and Residential Construction firm seeking an up-and-coming Staff Accountant to join their growing finance team! This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious accounting professional to gain hands-on experience, expand technical skills, and build a foundation for career growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the month-end close process, including journal entries, accruals, and reconciliations.
• Manage general ledger account reconciliations to ensure accuracy.
• Assist with payroll-related journal entries and reconciliations.
• Handle intercompany activity and ensure proper reporting.
• Work with cross-functional teams to resolve discrepancies and properly recognize costs.
• Support audits and contribute to process improvements within accounting operations.
• Take on special projects and collaborate with the finance team to drive efficiencies.

What We’re Looking For

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.
• 3+ years of experience in GL accounting and supporting month-end close.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP.
• Proficiency in Excel; ERP Proficiency required (QuickBooks, NetSuite, Oracle, Sage, etc.); RAMP++
• High attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
