A highly regarded and well-capitalized investment firm is conducting a confidential search for a Senior Accountant to join its growing finance organization. The Senior Accountant will play a critical role in both core accounting functions and ongoing finance transformation initiatives. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys improving processes, leveraging systems, and helping modernize accounting operations in a dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead month-end close activities including general ledger management, journal entries, and account reconciliations

• Identify process inefficiencies and drive automation and workflow improvements across accounting operations

• Support ongoing finance transformation initiatives, including system enhancements and process redesign

• Manage key accounting areas such as cash, payroll, leases, accruals, and prepaids

• Oversee intercompany transactions and ensure accuracy across multiple entities

  Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting; CPA strongly preferred (or active pursuit required)

• 6+ years of progressive accounting experience, ideally within a fast-paced or transforming environment

• Strong knowledge of GAAP and internal controls; exposure to investment or financial services environments is a plus

• Proven experience supporting or leading transformation initiatives (ERP implementations, automation, process improvements)

• Experience with large ERP systems (Microsoft Dynamics 365 or similar)

• Advanced Excel skills with a data-driven mindset
