A growing PE backed company in the transportation industry is seeking a new Senior Accountant due to a recent acquisition. This role will work closely with the CFO of the company as well as the leadership team of the holding company.

Job Duties:

• Prepare and post journal entries

• Handle consolidations for the holding company

• Full-cycle G/L management

• Execute month-end closing activities

• Maintain communication with customers as needed

• Demonstrate accuracy, teamwork, and the ability to work independently

• Conduct ad hoc data analysis

• Support the preparation of financial reports

Requirements:

• 3+ years of accounting experience

• Proficient in full-cycle general ledger accounting and managing month-end close

• Experience in fixed assets and sales tax

• Prior experience in fleet management accounting is preferred

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
