Our client, a New York–based contemporary fashion label known for its minimalist, modern designs, is looking for a Senior Accountant. The ideal candidate will demonstrate willingness and ability to be a self-starter and naturally take initiative to solve problems.

Responsibilities:

• Support monthly and year-end close, including journal entries, reconciliations, and financial analysis.

• Ensure accuracy of bank, inventory, lease, and intercompany accounts.

• Manage sales tax and VAT compliance across regions.

• Oversee cash management activities and calculate team commissions.

• Maintain fixed asset records and ensure ERP data integrity.

• Assist with external audits and contribute to process improvements.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting (CPA preferred).

• 5+ years of accounting experience with strong GAAP knowledge.

• Advanced Excel and ERP system proficiency.

• Detail-oriented, proactive, and collaborative team player.

• Experience in retail, wholesale, or e-commerce industries preferred.
