HR Generalist – Regional Retail Chain

Our client a regional retail chain is expanding quickly, and we’re looking for an HR Generalist who’s excited to support our teams and build a great employee experience across multiple locations. This is a hands-on role where no two days are the same—you’ll partner on everything from recruiting and onboarding to employee engagement, compliance, and performance management. What you’ll do:
Be a go-to resource for employees—answer questions, solve problems, and keep things running smoothly.
Lead the hiring and onboarding process to set new team members up for success.
Maintain accurate employee records and keep our HRIS humming.
Support training, performance reviews, and development programs.
Help drive engagement, recognition, and wellness initiatives.
Ensure compliance with labor laws and internal policies.
Jump in on special HR projects and reports as needed.
What you’ll bring:
Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business, or related field.
2–4 years of HR experience (HR certification is a plus).
Strong communication and people skills—you’re approachable and solution-oriented.
Solid knowledge of HR practices and labor law basics.
Comfortable juggling priorities, handling sensitive info, and keeping details in order.
