We are seeking an experienced Payroll Specialist to lead payroll quality control and process improvements in our manufacturing operations. This role ensures accurate multi-state payroll, partners with management on efficiency initiatives, and serves as the key contact for payroll audits.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct ongoing and year-end payroll control audits to improve accuracy and efficiency.
• Investigate and resolve payroll processing issues, strengthening quality control strategies.
• Partner on process improvements and participate in continuous improvement projects.
• Investigate and resolve payroll processing issues, ensuring compliance with internal controls and audit requirements.
• Lead and execute payroll control audits on an ongoing basis and at year-end to improve accuracy and efficiency, benchmarking quality metrics against prior periods.
• Serve as a primary contact for payroll operations audits and related inquiries.

Qualifications:

• 3+ years of payroll experience preferred; 3–7 years total experience or equivalent combination of education/experience.
• Experience with multi-state payroll processing.
• Proficiency in PeopleSoft, PeopleSoft Query, and Excel.
• CPP certification and coursework in Accounting/Business preferred.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
