A large, global manufacturing corporation is seeking a junior Finance Analyst to join their growing finance team and support day-to-day financial operations, reporting, and analytical initiatives. This role will partner closely with the Finance Manager and broader leadership team to provide visibility into performance trends, support cash forecasting activities, and assist with operational finance processes. The position is ideal for an analytically minded professional who enjoys working cross-functionally and contributing to process improvement within a collaborative environment.

This role is hybrid/ REMOTE, 4 days at home, only 1 day in the office with flexible start/ end times!

Responsibilities

  • Support the Finance Manager with monthly and ongoing variance analysis, highlighting key drivers impacting financial performance.
  • Assist in cash forecasting processes by compiling data inputs, maintaining schedules, and supporting liquidity visibility for leadership.
  • Prepare and maintain sales tax reporting schedules and coordinate with external tax agencies to research notices, resolve discrepancies, and address penalty inquiries.
  • Contribute to month-end finance deliverables, including reporting packages, reconciliations, and ad hoc analysis as needed.
  • Develop and maintain Excel-based models and reporting tools to improve transparency and efficiency across finance processes.
  • Partner cross-functionally with accounting, operations, and leadership to gather data, validate assumptions, and support decision-making.
  • Identify opportunities for process enhancements and automation within reporting and analytical workflows.
  • Support special projects and ad hoc financial analyses aligned with business initiatives and leadership requests.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree is required
  • 1+ years of experience in finance
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel with experience building financial schedules and analyses.
  • Experience working within ERP systems; NetSuite experience preferred.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with internal stakeholders and external agencies.
  • Self-starter mindset with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a collaborative team environment.
