Interim Accounting & Finance Manager ( Contract)
$70–$80/hr | 40 hrs/week | 2-Month Contract
A rapidly growing, private-equity–backed services organization is seeking an Interim Accounting & Finance Manager to support critical financial operations during a high-growth period, including upcoming M&A activity and strategic initiatives.
This remote contract role is ideal for someone who can hit the ground running, bring structure to evolving accounting processes, and partner closely with leadership to enhance reporting, forecasting, and financial controls.
What You’ll Do
Accounting Operations & Controls
Support month-end and year-end close, journal entries, and financial statement preparation.
Reorganize and realign the Chart of Accounts to align with business and reporting needs.
Financial Reporting & Analysis
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and ad-hoc financial reporting packages.
Analyze variances, trends, and operational drivers for leadership visibility.
Budgeting, Forecasting & Cash Flow
Own short- and long-term cash flow forecasting (including scenario modeling).
Support annual budgeting and ongoing reforecast cycles.
Partner with business leaders to provide data-driven insights and financial guidance.
Financial Modeling
Build and refine financial models to support planning and decision-making.
What You Bring
5–7 years of combined accounting & finance experience.
NetSuite expertise (required).
Strong financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and modeling skills.
Ability to restructure or optimize a Chart of Accounts.
Strong Excel and analytical skills.
Experience in high-growth, PE-backed, or transformation-stage environments is a plus.
CPA preferred but not required.
Commit to 40+ hours/week through end of January.
