About the Opportunity

Our client is a growing retail and CPG manufacturing organization seeking an experienced FP&A Manager to join its finance team. This is a high visibility role for a finance professional who can combine strong analytical and technical capabilities with excellent communication and presentation skills.

The ideal candidate will have approximately 5+ years of finance and FP&A experience, a strong understanding of financial planning and analysis, and the ability to work cross functionally with senior leadership and operating teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes across the organization
  • Develop and maintain financial models, forecasts, reporting packages, and performance analyses
  • Analyze financial and operational results and provide insights to senior leadership
  • Partner with accounting and operational teams to ensure accuracy and consistency of financial information
  • Track key business metrics, identify trends, and communicate opportunities and risks
  • Prepare and present financial results and recommendations to leadership
  • Support strategic planning and business decision making through financial analysis
  • Manage and improve FP&A processes, reporting structures, and financial tools
  • Lead, develop, and mentor 2 direct reports
  • Work cross functionally with sales, operations, accounting, and other business leaders

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of progressive FP&A, financial analysis, or corporate finance experience
  • Strong understanding of core FP&A principles, including budgeting, forecasting, modeling, and variance analysis
  • Experience within retail, CPG, consumer products, or manufacturing strongly preferred
  • Strong Excel and financial modeling skills
  • Experience with financial planning, ERP, BI, or reporting systems
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Demonstrated experience managing or mentoring team members
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to interact confidently with senior leadership and present financial information in a clear, concise manner
  • Highly organized, detail oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment

Compensation: Up to $140,000 base salary, depending on experience
