The company is currently navigating a challenging and highly competitive market environment and is not in a growth phase, placing increased emphasis on financial discipline, margin control, and operational rigor.

The Role

This position is dedicated exclusively to gross margin management and operational FP&A oversight, created to strengthen margin visibility and operational control, particularly as the organization transitions its ERP system from Microsoft Dynamics AX to SAP.

  • Financial reporting and operational performance analysis

You will ensure clear visibility into where the business gains or loses value across its production and supply chain ecosystem, supporting better decision-making and financial discipline.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead gross margin analysis and identify drivers of variance across regions and channels.
  • Monitor and analyze production costs across outsourced manufacturing partners.
  • Oversee inventory flows and logistics performance across international distribution networks.
  • Support ERP transition (AX to SAP) with a focus on financial controls and data accuracy.
  • Partner closely with operations to challenge assumptions and improve cost efficiency.
  • Contribute to budgeting, forecasting, and operational performance reviews.
  • Support consolidation across multiple international subsidiaries.

Qualifications

  • Approximately 5 years of FP&A experience within manufacturing, supply chain, retail, industrial, or similar operational environments.
  • Strong hands-on experience with gross margin analysis, inventory flows, and production cost oversight.
  • Ability to challenge operational teams constructively.
  • Excellent presentation, polish, and communication skills (top-tier/A1 profile).
  • Business-minded, curious, and eager to deeply understand operational drivers.

Preferred Background

  • Experience transitioning or working within ERP systems (AX and/or SAP exposure is a plus).
  • Background in public accounting (ideally Big 4), with strong understanding of inventory and cost accounting flows.
  • CPA strongly preferred for candidates coming directly from public accounting.
