About the Role
We’re seeking an experienced FP&A professional (7+ years) with a strong manufacturing background to own and translate manufacturing financial data into clear business insights. In this role, you’ll work hands-on with cost and operational drivers—then partner with Manufacturing and senior leadership to shape decisions, improve performance, and keep reporting highly accurate and executive-ready.
What You’ll Do
- Own budgeting, forecasting, department spend reviews, and financial reporting
- Run and support the monthly business review (MBR) process
- Take cost accountant inputs, “metabolize” the numbers, connect them to the broader financial picture, and recommend actions
- Partner with Manufacturing on labor, materials, yield, margins, and key operational spend drivers
- Pull data from NetSuite and other systems; build KPIs/dashboards and turn metrics into actionable recommendations
- Support CapEx analysis, with cash flow forecasting and balance-sheet experience being a strong plus rather than a requirement
- Serve as the Director’s right hand by taking workstreams off their plate with minimal oversight
- Produce polished executive and board-level materials with comfort presenting to senior leadership
What You Bring
- 7+ years of FP&A experience with current or very recent manufacturing exposure
- Strong ownership mindset and curiosity—business partnering over “check-the-box” technical work
- Experience at the Manager or Senior Manager level supporting manufacturing financial planning and analysis
- Comfort working with NetSuite and reporting/analytics tools (Solver/Solution 7 experience a plus)
