We’re conducting a confidential search for a hands-on Chief Financial Officer to join a growing, consumer products company in the Los Angeles area.

This is a highly visible leadership role with direct exposure to ownership and the Board, offering the opportunity to shape financial strategy while staying deeply connected to day-to-day operations.

This CFO will serve as a key member of the executive leadership team, partnering closely with the CEO and founders to drive both strategic growth and operational excellence.

This is not a purely strategic role, we’re looking for a leader who is comfortable:

• Operating at a high level with ownership and Board members
• Rolling up their sleeves with accounting, reporting, and team leadership

Responsibilities:

• Lead financial strategy, planning, and forecasting
• Oversee all accounting, reporting, and cash flow management across multiple entities
• Partner with ownership on tax strategy, capital allocation, and business decisions
• Drive process improvements and system enhancements (automation, reporting, controls)
• Lead and develop a lean but high-impact finance and accounting team
• Manage external partners (banks, auditors, advisors)
• Support M&A activity and strategic initiatives
• Build a best-in-class, service-oriented finance function

Ideal Candidate Profile

• 15–20+ years of progressive finance/accounting leadership experience
• Prior experience as a CFO or senior finance leader in a ~$100M+ business
• Strong background in inventory-heavy environments (wholesale/retail preferred)
• Experience with M&A transactions and multi-entity structures
• CPA and/or MBA strongly preferred
• Proven ability to balance strategy + execution in a fast-paced environment
• Hands-on leadership style with strong communication and executive presence
