A leading corporation based in Palo Alto offering a hybrid/ REMOTE schedule is seeking an Audit Consultant with a strong accounting background to support a critical audit and quarter-end close cycle. This role will focus on audit preparation, financial schedules, reconciliations, and multi-entity consolidation. You will work alongside a strong accounting team in a collaborative environment where your expertise will directly support a business-critical initiative.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare audit schedules, workpapers, and roll-forward documentation
• Perform detailed account reconciliations and financial tie-outs including cash, debt, and fixed assets
• Validate trial balances across multiple legal entities
• Support quarter-end close and audit readiness activities simultaneously
• Assist with consolidation reporting across several subsidiaries
• Prepare journal entries and supporting financial schedules
• Extract and analyze ERP data to ensure audit accuracy
• Partner cross-functionally to gather and validate financial information

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree is required
• Senior accountant or senior auditor level experience
• Strong background in audit support and financial statement preparation
• Experience with account reconciliations and roll-forward schedules
• Exposure to multi-entity accounting or consolidations
• Public accounting experience is a plus
• Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines
