A rapidly growing manufacturing company is seeking an experienced and highly motivated Accounting Manager to oversee all aspects of accounting within their manufacturing operations. The ideal candidate will be a CPA with strong experience in manufacturing accounting, cost accounting, and financial reporting. This is a hands-on role requiring both technical expertise and leadership skills to manage a small team and ensure accurate, timely financial results.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage the accounting team, providing guidance and oversight on daily operations
• Oversee manufacturing cost accounting, including inventory valuation, standard cost updates, and variance analysis
• Prepare accurate and timely financial statements and reports, including month-end and year-end close
• Manage budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis to support operational and strategic decisions
• Ensure compliance with GAAP, company policies, and regulatory requirements
• Collaborate with operations and supply chain teams to optimize cost control and reporting processes
• Support internal and external audits, including preparation of schedules and documentation
• Continuously evaluate accounting processes and implement improvements to enhance efficiency

Qualifications:

• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation required
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting is required
• 4+ years of experience as an accountant
• Training, mentorship, or leadership of staff is required
• Hands-on experience with ERP systems
• Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate across multiple departments
