💼 What I Do
I strive to understand what people are looking for (from both a candidate or client perspective), be it hard skills, soft skills or a specific set of talents and I leverage my network and market knowledge to bring those people together.
🎯 Background
Like most recruiters, I never knew I’d end up in recruitment :). I come from an Engineering background and I worked in Quality in the Industrial/Manufacturing space for a while before realizing I was a people person, which led me to recruitment. I’ve been in this industry for 7 years, having recruited for the Engineering, Tech, Operations, Finance & Accounting sectors.
💡 Fun Fact
I’ve directed, edited and starred in an hour-long movie which was a year-long project in my second year of engineering school. A lot of the movie was inspired by Tarantino and Guy Ritchie pictures and revolves around a series of murders by an unknown entity. I’m the detective trying to crack the case
📦 Tools of the Trade
My go-to is LinkedIn Recruiter, but I’m also a big fan of Gem and Crelate. Also, never underestimate the power of networking.
🏖 Outside of Work
There’s nothing better than spending the weekend casting a bobber into a mountain lake in the Sierras, making a fire and throwing that brown trout over the coals.
Unfortunately (for me) no trout were hurt in the process.
