A global leader in the fashion, media, and entertainment space is looking to bring a high caliber Manager of Technical Accounting into their New York City HQ. The company has a brand that is recognized and respected worldwide.

The business is highly acquisitive completing more than 20 M&A transactions in the past few years. Well-established and fast-growing with increasingly more business units and specialist variation. The uniqueness about this role is while it is a technical accounting expert it will not have access to SAP the GL system. The position plays a crucial part in providing accounting structuring and guidance for transactions (M&A), joint ventures, minority investments, financing transactions, etc., collaborating with M&A, Legal, Treasury, business unit Finance Directors and Controllers as well as external advisors. An uber-commercial role that will have you working with many key stakeholders

Requirements:

• Public accounting experience. Big 4 experience preferred
• Manager level. Or public and private accounting expert
• Must come from a capital market division, accounting advisory or national office
• Must have strong technical accounting knowledge. Revenue Recognition, SEC, (Though this is not an external reporting role) GAAP
