Tax Accounting Manager

Hoxton Circle is partnering with a NYC Family Office in search for a stellar Tax Accounting Manager to support the COO in a friendly finance environment.

This position offers an incredible opportunity for accounting individuals interested in learning the functions behind investment structures, asset classes, and procedures in Private Equity management, with an eye on growing within an incredible institution.

Working “in the trenches” alongside investment administrators, this role requires prior experience of High Net Worth portfolios, and will be able to comfortably execute accounting responsibilities in-office, 5 days per week, from 8:30AM – 6:30PM.

Responsibilities include:

• Perform first review of monthly closings of multiple styles of investments, inclusive of taxable income reclassification
• Review quarterly income calculations
• Review and approve journal entries as needed
• Review capital calls and distributions for partners within investment partnerships
