We are partnering with a popular e-commerce provider of health and wellness products to find a talented and passionate Staff Accountant to join their operations team. This role is a hybrid role out of LA, and will report to the Assistant Controller.

In this role you will be responsible for day-to-day accounting operations, including journal entries, month end, reconciliations, general ledgers, etc. as well as assisting the management team with special projects. You must also be very hands-on and able to help identify and implement process improvements.

This individual must have strong interest in furthering their career within accounting - as the company places a large emphasis on employee growth and promoting from within.

What You’ll Bring:

• 1-3 years of relevant accounting experience
• Full cycle experience, including month end closes
• Proficiency with excel, as well as ERPs (i.e QuickBooks)
• Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills
• Desire to work with a team, as this is a collaborative role

What You'll Do:

• Perform day-to-day accounting operations; including journal entries, month end close, balance sheet reconciliations, general ledger maintenance
• Prepare revenue and deferred revenue entries, and maintain and review corporate credit card program and coding
• Oversee daily and monthly inventory count and reconciliations
• Maintain cash activity, booking of journal entries and reconciliations of multiple entities
• Managing receivables with vendors and third party service organizations
• Help implement processes and procedures and assist with special projects as needed
