Hoxton Circle has partnered with a long-time technology client that needs to fill a 4-month contract/interim full-time job. The job will cover for an HR Director and is a great opportunity for someone looking for interim/contract work for a guaranteed few months. - Collaborate with the executive team to design and implement talent strategies that address current and future workforce needs, including recruiting, retention, and succession planning.
- Drive initiatives that foster employee engagement, development, and well-being, ensuring a great work environment.
- Oversee the creation and execution of learning and development programs, ensuring career growth opportunities for employees at all levels.
- Analyze compensation trends and propose competitive pay structures, benefits, and incentive programs to attract and retain top talent.
- Serve as a trusted advisor, bridging management and employee relations by managing performance issues, investigations, disciplinary meetings, and terminations.
- Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws, regularly reviewing company policies to ensure best practices.
- Lead People/HR processes and systems that drive efficiency and effectiveness in all areas of the people function.
- Provide leadership during this transitional period, ensuring a seamless continuation of people operations while preparing for future leadership needs.
- Lead the annual benefits review and renewal process, assessing current offerings, researching industry trends, and negotiating with vendors to ensure employees receive the best possible packages.
- Conduct a thorough analysis of the company’s current compensation structure to ensure internal equity and market competitiveness. Propose adjustments where necessary to attract and retain top talent.
- Perform benchmarking to compare compensation packages with industry standards, ensuring we remain competitive in attracting key talent.
- Oversee the bi-annual raise cycle, including developing guidelines for merit increases, ensuring consistency in performance-based compensation, and aligning with budget constraints.
- Lead the completion of the performance review cycle, working with department heads to ensure timely and meaningful evaluations, aligning employee development goals with business objectives.
Skills/Qualifications:
- 7+ years of People/HR experience, with a minimum of 3 years in a leadership role within a high-growth tech environment.
- Prior experience managing and developing small HR teams to achieve operational goals and deliver on strategic priorities.
- Experience managing employee relations and guiding leadership through complex personnel matters.
- Strong working knowledge of federal and state labor laws and People/HR best practices.
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; an advanced degree or People/HR certification is a plus.
