A well established and growing investment firm that acquires and manages a profitable and broad selection of portfolio companies is searching for a leader for their Portfolio Operations team. This role will be based in NYC with sporadic travel to portfolio companies across North America.
The Group has tripled in size over the past five years and with the aim of enhancing its nuanced approach to fostering growth and efficiency across the portfolio, are now aiming to bring in an experienced operational leader to manage the portfolio operations, function and team. The role will be tasked with increasing equity value through consultative project delivery, implementation of operational improvements, sales growth, and performance monitoring across the portfolio. This position will be a key member of the senior management team and will lead the diagnosis of improvement areas across the portfolio companies via analysis of investment performance.
An ideal background for this role would be a combination of finance, strategy, and most importantly, the implementation and management of operational improvements and efficiencies. This position will manage a team of 8+ and previous leadership experience within a hands-on operational function is absolutely necessary. Whilst the client is open to a variety of industry backgrounds, ability and experience in assessment, strategy formulation and implementation of positive change and efficiency, is vital.
