A Business Intelligence (BI) Manager will play a pivotal role in developing and executing the BI strategy, leveraging data to drive informed decision-making, and ensuring data integrity and accuracy. As a Business Intelligence Manager, you will oversee the design, implementation, and improvement of the BI platform. You will partner with the business teams and with the IT Managed Service Teams. A successful candidate will consolidate Business Analyst and Power BI Designer role into one. This role requires expertise in BI tools, data visualization, and a strong ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver actionable insights.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the development and execution of the organization's BI strategy, aligning it with business goals and objectives.
- Collaborate with IT MSP to solution, build, test and implement Business Warehouse Platform.
- Oversee data analysis activities, including data mining, trend analysis, and predictive modeling, to extract actionable insights and support decision-making.
- Create and manage comprehensive reports, dashboards, and data visualizations that provide stakeholders with timely, relevant, and accurate information.
- Establish and maintain data governance policies, procedures, and standards to ensure data quality, consistency, and compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with the Business Intelligence Analyst to design and develop reports & dashboards.
- Manage a team of BI professionals, including data analysts and data engineers, providing guidance, mentoring, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
- Between 3-5 years of experience in Power BI Platform, Power BI Desktop, Power BI Service.
- Proficiency in BI tools such as Power BI, or similar platforms, with the ability to design and implement complex data visualizations.
- Strong data analysis skills, including data mining, SQL, and data modeling.
- Between 3-5 years of management experience.
- Power BI Certification is a plus.
- Exceptional leadership and communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams, present findings to executives, and drive a data-driven culture within the organization.
- Knowledge of data governance best practices, data quality management, and compliance with data privacy regulations.
- Experience with D365 BC ERP, SQL Server, Office 365- Excel, SharePoint.
