A stable, well-known, international company based in Salinas is seeking an Accounting Manager to drive their financial operations and lead a team of three talented accounting professionals. The Accounting Manager will be the heart of the financial strategy, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and compliance in all accounting activities. This role will report into the Controller level.

Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and Inspire: Oversee and mentor a team of accountants, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment.
- Financial Reporting: Prepare and review accurate and timely financial statements, reports, and forecasts that support strategic decision-making.
- Audit Coordination: Manage internal and external audits, ensuring all necessary documentation is prepared and issues are promptly addressed.
- Process Improvement: Identify areas for process enhancements and implement innovative solutions to streamline operations and enhance accuracy.
- Collaboration: Partner with other departments to support business objectives and provide financial guidance that drives organizational success.
What You Bring:
- Minimum of one year experience managing, training, and/or leading projects amongst staff (can be a senior accountant with some leadership experience looking for a promotion).
- Minimum five years of overall accounting experience.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA or equivalent certification preferred).
- Analytical Mindset: Exceptional analytical skills with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights.
- Tech Savvy: Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP) with strong Excel skills.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present financial information clearly and effectively to stakeholders.
