We are representing a high-growth, PE backed company that is actively seeking a Senior Accountant, Financial Reporting. As the Senior Accountant, Financial Reporting, you will support the company's financial reporting functions, ensuring compliance with U.S. GAAP, and other applicable regulatory standards. You’ll be a critical part of the financial reporting team and work cross-functionally with accounting, audit, and finance to support external reporting and internal process improvements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and post month-end journal entries and accruals with appropriate documentation
  • Perform monthly balance sheet reconciliations and variance analyses across multiple entities
  • Manage intercompany transactions and month-end balances across multiple entities
  • Assist in the monthly close process and internal/external reporting
  • Ensure compliance with GAAP and internal accounting policies
  • Implement accounting procedures by analyzing current processes and recommending improvements
  • Collaborate with finance, operations, and global teams to ensure timely and accurate reporting
  • Support enhancements to accounting systems, ensuring alignment with GAAP and technical accounting standards
  • Research and interpret financial data to answer accounting and financial questions, leveraging strong technical accounting skills and a deep understanding of GAAP
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting.
  • CPA is a plus.
  • 1–3+ years of accounting and financial reporting experience, ideally in a Big 4 public accounting firm (audit and/or accounting advisory background preferred).
  • Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP, financial reporting for US & international subsidiaries is a plus.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to clearly explain accounting concepts and interact with multiple stakeholders.
  • Highly organized and proactive, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment.
  • A self-starter who thrives in a fast-moving, entrepreneurial environment and is looking to grow into a leadership role over time.
