A global real estate developer and management company is looking for a Senior Accountant to join their finance team. You’ll work alongside the Director of Finance and a dynamic team to lead efforts on month-end close, corporate reporting, analysis, and support a system transformation. You’ll also oversee and mentor junior members of the team, liaise with internal and external stakeholders as it relates to accounting initiatives and projects, and lead additional automation efforts.

Note this opportunity requires you to work 5 days a week in office for the first few months across their NYC and Queens offices. Will eventually transition to hybrid/3 days a week.

Desired Experience:

• 5 years of corporate accounting experience or a mix of public/private
• Strong accounting analysis and financial reporting 
• Active CPA license, or license in progress
• Demonstrates intellectual curiosity by proactively exploring the story behind the numbers; ability to take accountability and leadership of work
