We're partnering with an exciting and mission driven consumer tech company on a search for a Junior Billing Associate. This will be a longer term contract position (immediate start date), likely running until the end of the year, with a possibility to become permanent.

Reporting to the Controller, you'll play a key role in all billing activities, including communicating with customers and working cross-functionally with other teams, as well as supporting some areas of corporate accounting. Additionally, there will be ongoing opportunities to contribute to process improvements and automation, and the team is really looking for someone who's interested in driving some of those initiatives.

What You’ll Do:

• Manage and resolve billing inquiries, answer incoming calls and respond to internal billing requests from Sales and Customer Success teams
• Review and update account and invoicing data and investigate invoicing and payment discrepancies
• Record payments to member accounts and lead outstanding payment collection efforts
• Challenge the “status quo” by proposing process improvements to streamline billing operations
• Collaborate with the B2B team to review enterprise contracts to ensure accurate & timely invoicing
• Support with any system initiatives that impact billing operations
  

Desired Experience:

• 2+ years of billing experience, preferably from a high volume billing environment
• SaaS or subscription-based industry experience preferred
• Bonus points for Salesforce experience
• Enthusiasm about streamlining and automating manual processes
• Self starter, detail oriented, professional communicator and cross-functional collaborator
