Role: Associate Director, Tax
Compensation: $150K–$200K +  bonus
Location: Los Angeles (Hybrid: 3 days/week in-office)

About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Associate Director, Tax to join a growing, high-impact finance team. This role focuses on tax provisions (GAAP and statutory accounting) and offers the opportunity to directly influence key financial processes.

Responsibilities:

• Manage tax provisions for GAAP and statutory reporting

• Partner with cross-functional teams and external advisors

• Provide hands-on support on complex tax topics

• Contribute to tax software implementation and process improvements

Requirements:

• CPA with public accounting experience (tax provisions exposure preferred)

• Insurance industry experience (health, life, or P&C)

• Knowledge of statutory guidance

• Strong communication skills and collaborative, hands-on approach

• Preferred: experience with Corptax or other tax software
